The IHS Annual Convention & Expo is a unique opportunity to share your expertise with hearing healthcare professionals and to learn from peers and colleagues. As a presenter, we consider you a partner as we strive to deliver the highest quality content to our attendees.
There are limited speaking slots available at the 71st Annual IHS Convention & Expo. All topics relevant to hearing healthcare professionals will be considered. The event theme this year is “Stay Ahead. Drive Hearing Care Forward.” As such, we are particularly interested in topics related to the modernization of hearing care/delivery and clinical and business innovation. Attendees will have two tracks to choose from: Clinical and Practice Management.
Some examples of relevant topics include:
- Tinnitus care
- Cerumen management
- Patient-centered care
- Business operations
- New technology
- Managed care/third-party participation
- Complicated fittings/case studies
- Cognitive decline/co-morbidities and hearing loss
- Unique business models
Help shape the educational program for the 2023 IHS Convention & Expo by submitting your proposal by Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
Speaker Information
Please review the Presenter Information & Due Dates document before preparing a submission. Selected seminar speakers will receive complimentary event registration. If your submission is accepted, you are expected to meet all posted dates and deadlines. IHS reserves the right to make adjustments to any presentation that does not meet deadlines and guidelines.
Selection Process
Submissions are due by Tuesday, January 31, 2023. You will receive an automatic confirmation of your submission. Please keep this confirmation in your files. You will be notified by April 2023 on the status of your submission.
We receive many proposals for the annual convention, so please understand that it is a difficult and highly selective process for our team to review and choose from among the many excellent submissions we receive. As such, quality rather than quantity is always best when submitting proposals. We much prefer to receive your best ideas rather than every idea you might have, so only send us the ones you think make for the strongest educational experience.
PLEASE NOTE: Upon acceptance, IHS may modify the seminar title and description to fit our style and format guidelines for the purpose of printed and web-based marketing materials.
If you have specific questions, please contact Sierra Sharpe, Director of Professional Development.
