Kelly Tremblay, PhD, CCC-A, F-AAA
Kelly Tremblay, PhD, CCC-A, F-AAA is an audiologist, neuroscientist, and advocate. With this background, she is keenly aware of the communication difficulties experienced by people with age-related hearing loss and developed a translational program of research aimed at optimizing auditory rehabilitation. The emphasis of her research is understanding how the brain makes use of amplified sound and the importance of promoting health and hearing to the public. Her career started out as a practicing audiologist in Colorado for many years before returning to school to complete her PhD at Northwestern University in 1997. Kelly then completed post-doctoral training at the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles California before joining the faculty at the University of Washington from 1999-2019.
