PARTY LIKE A COUNTRY MUSIC STAR!
Dig out your favorite denim jacket or jeans and dress it up with some sequins and rhinestones. It’s time to kick up your heels at the Denim & Diamonds Party and strut your stuff like a country music superstar! We’ll start with a reception, then a scrumptious dinner, honor our colleagues during the awards segment (lookin’ at you IHS All-Stars!), and then live music and dancing with extraordinary Nashville musicians! It will be an incredible night of fun for all as we close out this year’s convention like country music royalty. Embrace Nashville’s heritage by donning your favorite formalwear or denim paired with rhinestones and bling, cowboy boots and hats, and snappy blazers or bolo ties for the guys.
Need some ideas for your Denim & Diamonds outfit? Think jeans plus formalwear and/or bling. Don’t be afraid to add color and be ostentatious! Check out these inspiration pages for the ladies and this one for the guys!
We are now accepting award nominations online so remember to nominate your favorite professional or chapter!
Featuring Musical Artists Shane Dwight, Pryor Baird and Yates McKendree
After dinner and awards, you’ll be treated to the incredible musical talents of Nashville’s finest musicians. Assembled especially for the Denim & Diamonds Party are Shane Dwight, critically acclaimed blues maverick whom Guitar World Magazine proclaims “rocks and rocks HARD”; NBC’s The Voice contestant and guitar/vocal powerhouse Pryor Baird; and versatile musician and artist Yates McKendree, who is also the son of Grammy-nominated artist Kevin McKendree.
Celebrating the IHS All-Stars!!
The Denim & Diamonds Party is a special theme this year for the classic IHS Awards Gala. This is the night IHS members and other hearing professionals honor our IHS All-Stars in person, on the red carpet and on stage. IHS All-Stars are IHS members who are celebrating a membership milestone with the Society, having dedicated 5-60 years toward their membership and support of the IHS Code of Ethics. They are the backbone of the organization and every year we celebrate them with recognition at the Awards Gala, plus a special pin and certificate, gift at convention registration, their names in The Hearing Professional magazine, and so much more.
